I am Andrew Hogan, a barrister, author and speaker. This site is about artificial intelligence, the legal profession, and the practical judgment needed to use new tools without losing one\u2019s head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here you will find serious essays drawn from my book Andrew and the Marvellous Analytical Engine, field notes from my own use of AI systems, and reflections on what this technology is likely to change in legal and professional life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artificial intelligence can accelerate research, drafting, organisation and analysis. It can also mislead, flatter, fabricate and tempt people into trusting what they have not properly examined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
